There
are many things
silent
and enduring
of
which I know nothing about.
Of
grander things have I aspired to
deciding
the lesser
and
in so doing forsaking myself its grace.
Such
timely rebirth
of
heart or of tongue
leaves
a dreary moment in time to come
of
paths not ventured for sake of gain
to
dispose myself against no grain.
A
familiar but unknown wind
and
all too well seen rocks and shore,
but
the course unknown
for
having decided before
the
greater and the lesser.
