He
had lived a noble life.
That
for which he had searched his entire life
had
but now come into the palm of his hand.
He
gazed upon it in wonder for a generation,
then,
when his time came too soon,
it
was taken on a wisp of wind,
just
as he came to truly know…
Sadness
comes in that
he
had learned to love
and
was loved in return.
The
knowing was lost to him
in
that wisp,
but
in that lies the goodness,
for
he had known it before he died,
and
it had burned brightly.
For
he had lived
a
noble life
and
this
his
life’s reward.
glad to have been in that moment..he is still missed as Jayne says it was just yesterday.
